Infrastructure / Reliability Engineer

About the role

There's real greenfield here: parts of the stack still lack the CI, containers, and deploy paths they deserve, and this role gets to build them and decide how far to take each. You'd own operational quality across the board, CI/CD, environments, monitoring and alerting, security controls, and the unglamorous-but-vital release and incident processes. There are genuine puzzles waiting too, like services where startup order matters and a plain dependency declaration won't save you from a race. We're after calm incident judgment and a bias for treating reliability as a feature rather than cleanup. Vercel, AWS, Docker, GitHub Actions: pick the right tool and be able to explain the call.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments, secrets management, and deployment automation
• Define production monitoring, logging, tracing, alerting, service-level indicators, and incident workflows
• Create automated test and release infrastructure for web applications, APIs, and data pipelines
• Perform threat modeling, dependency review, access-control review, and security-hardening work
• Improve backup, disaster-recovery, rollback, vulnerability-management, and change-control processes
• Partner with engineers to diagnose failures, reduce recurring incidents, and strengthen architecture
• Document operational standards, release checklists, runbooks, and measurable quality gates

Required skills

• 4+ years of DevOps, SRE, platform, security, or production engineering experience
• Experience operating web services, databases, background workers, and cloud infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD, Linux, networking, containers, observability, and application security
• Experience creating automated integration and end-to-end testing infrastructure
• Calm incident judgment, strong documentation, and a systematic approach to risk reduction

Preferred skills

• Experience with Vercel, AWS, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, or Playwright
• Familiarity with smart-contract security, RPC infrastructure, or blockchain monitoring
• Security certifications, audit experience, or experience in regulated or financial systems
